I immediately judge people's character by their handwriting
Handwriting judgement is ancient — graphology (handwriting analysis) was taken seriously as a personality assessment tool until the 20th century. Studies consistently show it has no predictive validity for personality. However, the snap judgment feels natural because handwriting genuinely does correlate with education level, attention, and current emotional state — variables that are genuinely relevant.
