Cleopatra lived closer in time to the Moon landing than to the pyramids
🤷 This changes nothingFact Battle
The Great Pyramid of Giza was built around 2560 BCE. Cleopatra lived from 69–30 BCE — about 2,500 years after the pyramids were built. The Moon landing was in 1969 CE — about 2,000 years after Cleopatra. So Cleopatra is actually chronologically closer to astronauts than to pyramid builders. The pyramids are so ancient that they're genuinely prehistoric from Cleopatra's perspective.
Why this is surprising
We mentally group ancient Egypt as one unified era, but the timeline spans more than 3,000 years — a longer period than from Cleopatra to today.
